Apple And Google: The Duo In For Gangster Style Competition

The two of the most prominent tech giants are in business rivalry hand in hand. Both are in the Gangster Style business according to CEO of Epic Games Tim Sweeney. 

These great tech companies are using fines just to make their businesses flourish. The Epic games have been complaining about the pop up warning signs that these app stores show. Whenever a user downloads apps from a third party app store. Google play store or apple app store show warning signs. Which makes the users refrain from downloading anything from anywhere. 

Both the companies hold most of the ecosystem of mobile games. Which makes it hard for Epic games to catch any players or users. They only reach through fortnite but that is not guaranteed.

Sweeney is not happy with the situation. After suing both parties Epic games only won its case against Google. Apple however is very clever with its dealings. The tech giant is only giving links to third party systems where they can pay it or not. But epic games have problems with Apple’s new core technology fees. Which they think is another bogus reason for making extra money. 

The main point of Epic is simple. They want to stop this payment method otherwise the payment streams will upend. Because both parties have made this a proper means for earning extra money. 

Apple and Google control more than half of the whole market. Both are providing means to many new developers. There is always room for new apps. Consumers are installing new apps from iOS and android everyday. 

Not only Epic but the consumers across Europe are also feeling the same way for the new and enlarged payment methods. This kind of tactic is damaging relations between developers and customers. Because the prices are increasing and customers find it hard to alternate the payment methods. 

Epic is still not going to back down. It will keep its fight going. The company will open the store to other developers on the android and Apple ecosystem. Many developers and users are not liking this extra payment method of Apple and Google. 

Maybe the rulings against these cases come out differently now. This fight against the gangster style tactics to earn money has many chances of winning because Sweeney is still not backing down. He has a fair point: this might change Apple And Google’s future strategy to earn money from mere users.

At least someone has the courage to stand up against these mafias of technology. After so many years both companies have made their name into a brand. People find pride in owning their devices. If this practice is not stopped with time the companies might lose customers with time.
