Llama 4 Meta’s New AI Models: Are They Superior To Other AI Models?
A latest addition into the meta AI family is Llama 4. These AIs will backup the website assistants as well as the WhatsApp, facebook and instagram. You can download two models from two different platforms.

This is a rather small and tiny module. You can fit it in the H100 Nvidia GPU.
Llama 4 Maverick
Another type of AI model from the Meta. It is an identical version of Open AI’s Chatbot GPT-4o and Google’s Gemini 2.0 from the Gemini Flagship.
There is another model that is in the talks. But Meta is still training the model Llama 4 Behemoth. Apparently this will become the highest performing AI model in the world. But it is still under development.
The Llama model is so small, it can fit into a Nvidia GPU easily. It provides all the functionality of Gemini and Gemma as well as Chat GPT. That too is such a small spacing. A single spacing will do the trick for Meta AI.
On the other hand the Llama 4 behemoth is something else. It provides service on another level. Faster and brighter than the rest of the models.
It has a total of two trillion parameters. From which the 288 billion parameters are active. With activators on such a large scale the behemoth can easily excel the other AI competitors in the market.
The Llama 4 is filled with abilities on the level of MoE. This feature enables certain qualities. Only those which are necessary to perform certain tasks.
This feature helps in the conservation of resources. Several plans for future AI references will come into light at the 29th April conference. Until then it’s just tits and bits.
Llama has some previous models which were facing copyright or licensing issues. The reason is simple. Eversince the generation of AI the copyright issues and AI’s abilities have come hand in hand. Just a few days ago there was an issue regarding Gemini. Which is an AI assistant of Google.
It was removing copyright marks or water marks from professional photos like getty images. This action was not taken lightly. After that the rules regarding AI’s freedom and independence are in question.
So an entity with almost 700 and more users will seek permission from the Meta Network before using Llama. This is to avoid further complexities. Meta further rules its Llama collection as Open Source because anybody can easily access it.
That will change now because Meta is changing its category. It is taking out the AI assistant from Open Source categories. Further queries will come to rest at the conference soon.
